  2. Interesting. I resonated with your comment in “Candid Comments… Pt. 1” that a seminarian ought to seek out an internship under a wise, experienced minister. As someone who recently graduated from seminary, one of my best pastoral experiences was the summer I spent under a minister who is nearing retirement. I not only learned many practical things (e.g., things to keep the liturgy smooth, etc.), but I also had encouragement and guidance that is impossible within a classroom context.
