Thank you for this Professor Clark. I thought this but R C. so extolled Edwards it gave him a lot of credibility.
I noted that his famous sermon, Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God was a missue of the text.
It’s refreshing when you hear an history professor say what you’re thinking.

Just thought I’d mention that the audio version of Recovering the Reformed Confession is also available from Downpour, which is my favorite site for purchasing audiobooks. The beauty of downpour is that you can actually download the books you get, so you can store them and access them as you see fit as opposed to the strage ways of audible. Anyway, just an FYI!
