With this episode now we dive into the question of baptism itself. So far we have been setting the stage because, from the historic, confessional Reformed point of view, the debate about infant baptism is really a debate about how to understand the history of redemption and how to interpret the Scriptures. For example, in my experience, the two most frequent objections to infant are these: first, that there are no examples of infant baptism in the NT and second, that the only example of anything like infant baptism is infant circumcision under Abraham, but he belongs to the Old Testament.
