  1. When I worked in Senegal one of our teammates was part of the committee for the revision of the Wolof Bible. When it came to the issue of the translation of baptidzo everyone but our teammate was satisfied with “plunge under water.” She then asked how Jesus was going to “plunge someone via the Spirit into water using fire” Matt (3:11). I thank God that that committee had a committed reformed member.
