  1. It was good you followed up on this.

    I think saying women can do the same things other non ordained men can misdirect the conversation by ignoring what role gender plays in the discussion. Is it arbitrary that God chose men to be pastors, elders and deacons? Or is it based on how he designed men and women ontologically? I think where people land on that question will often determine where they set the barriers. When they restrict it beyond the worship service, they’re likely appealing to some form of natural law argument about the created differences between men and women. This however can make it harder and more subjective where you draw the line.

  2. What a fun episode! I just wanted to leave a comment to say it was very helpful for me to hear three well educated ministers work through some difficult scripture together in a helpful and cordial manner.
