Last week, Dr. Clark was in the Detroit metro celebrating the installation of our own Harrison Perkins as pastor of Oakland Hills Community Church (OPC). In the evening sermon, the Rev. Mr. Andy Longwe, minister of London City Presbyterian Church (Free Church of Scotland), preached the sermon and we think it is something you should hear. Rev. Longwe became the minister at LCPC in February 2022. He is married to Marina and they have two children. He previously served Cumbernauld Free Church. Andy was born in Mzuzu, Malawi and grew up in Lanarkshire, Scotland. He studied at Edinburgh Theological Seminary.

Truly a great sermon. I’m glad for LCPC that Rev Longwe serves them. I’m sure Harrison is missed there. LCPC was an interim source of good preaching when I was in-between churches during the lock-down days, and I’m thankful for the good messages that came from across the pond.
It’s really fine that Harrison made it to serve at Oakland Hills. May the Lord bless his work and care for the church.
