Correspondents regularly ask me for a list of recommended readings. I produced one years ago which I updated just today.

Thank you, Professor! 🙂
No Bavinck or Owen? I’m a bit surprised. Any reasons?
I added two Owen titles. I omitted Bavinck. The list was getting too long and some titles had to go, e.g., A. A. Hodge’s Outlines and Bavinck. I appreciate Bavinck but I do not yet share the fervor that others seem to have for him. Perhaps I’ll catch it yet. Hit refresh or clear your browser cache and you’ll have the updated list.
No Owen?
Great point. Will fix.
Thanks! His treatise on justification is a great choice, I’m currently reading it for the second time. Another one to possibly consider is Meditations and Discourses on the Glory of Christ.
