Central California is a beautiful place and that’s where I’ll be Friday evening January 23 and Saturday morning January 24, 2015. I’m giving three talks (and holding a Q &A session) on Sola Scriptura: “The Backbone of the Reformation,” “Its Unique Authority in Knowing God’s Will,” and “A Solid Rock In A Liquid Age.” The conference is hosted by Sovereign Grace Bakersfield. The conference is meeting at Valley Baptist Church, Olive Drive Campus. There is more information about the conference here. Here is the registration page. Chad Vegas is a good friend, who has one of those names every guy would like to have. He’s also the faithful shepherd of SG Bakersfield.

He has taught church history and historical theology since 1997 at Westminster Seminary California. He has also taught at Wheaton College, Reformed Theological Seminary, and Concordia University. He has hosted the Heidelblog since 2007.
