For what it’s worth, it appears there’s an ESV 2025 text edition in the works, The Genesis 3 and 4 passages go back to having some ambiguity (“your desire shall be for your husband”, “It’s desire is for you.”). The reader hits the second, and if astute, maybe realizes the first is a little more “cursey” than it first appeared.
