R. Scott Clark
R.Scott Clark is the President of the Heidelberg Reformation Association, the author and editor of, and contributor to several books and the author of many articles. He has taught church history and historical theology since 1997 at Westminster Seminary California. He has also taught at Wheaton College, Reformed Theological Seminary, and Concordia University. He has hosted the Heidelblog since 2007.

So Zwingli was not inconsistent after all, despite some popular perspectives, (any more than he was a mere memorialist on the Supper) rather because of Scripture rejected anabaptist theology; so much so he called them ‘cata’ baptists, not re-baptisers but no baptisers or those against baptism. Now that would make an interesting discussion for those Baptists who approve of Zwingli because they think he was (at the very least) a proto-memorialist.
