Well, I’ve read some of Wright’s work–and I’m not completely clear on what he wants to say.
I don’t quarrel with him that one of Paul’s concerns is to stress that Jews and Gentiles are both included in Christ. But what’s wrong with also understanding that both are so included because both are justified by faith as an acceptance of their persons as righteous for the sake of what Jesus did for all whom the Father gave him?
