John Owen for Kids

John Owen (1616–83) was one of the most important and influential Reformed theologians of the 17th century. His books were widely read in his own life and he has continued to influence Reformed theology and piety since. Owen’s theology is not light reading and it might not be easy to introduce such an important part of our tradition to children but Simonetta Carr has solved that problem. She’s just published another volume in her series of Christian Biographies for Young Readers. This is a well-written and beautifully-illustrated volume and a terrific introduction to Owen’s life and thought. Thanks Simonetta!
