There is an amazing electronic text of Ursinus’ Opera online. Thanks to Sebastian Heck for pointing us to this amazing resource.

Scott,
When I come out to Westminster and you guys teach me Latin then I will be able to read Ursinus. Or you could begin the translation of it! 😉 I really do wish I knew Latin! 🙁
Ummm…. you mean it’s written in ancient Latin?
Hey Tim…Latin is the root language of Spanish and the other Romance languages. My Latin teacher once told us, Spanish and the other Romance languages are the modern forms of Latin. Hence, one can say, Latin is ancient Spanish… 😉
Whereas, Ursinus wrote in Medieval Latin and not ancient Latin or a.k.a. Classical Latin. I believe Virgil wrote in Classical Latin (The Aenid).
Great, but it is written in ancient/archaic Spanish!! Very hard to read!
😉
Excellent! I have been looking for that. And it’s downloadable as a .pdf — splendid!
