Augustine and the City of God
Tuesday, August 11 – Friday, August 14
In Person and Online, With Dr. Michael Horton
Please consider joining Westminster Seminary California in person or online this summer for an exciting audit opportunity with Dr. Michael Horton. This one-week course will meet August 11–14 (Tuesday–Friday) from 9:00 am–12:15 pm.
In this course, students will explore Augustine’s The City of God, examining the work within its historical context and considering its extraordinary influence throughout Christian thought and history. The course will also engage Augustine’s critique of the Roman Empire and his defense of Christ’s kingdom, reflecting on how his insights continue to provide a compelling model for contemporary apologetics.
You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to study one of the most influential works in Christian history with Dr. Horton and consider the enduring relevance of Augustine’s thought for the church and world today!

Any chance this will be available after the fact, audio or video? I’d love to attend (or “attend” online), but am uncertain about being able to block off that time reliably over the 4 days.
I’m in the same boat. School is starting back up.
