For what it’s worth, it appears there’s an ESV 2025 text edition in the works, The Genesis 3 and 4 passages go back to having some ambiguity (“your desire shall be for your husband”, “It’s desire is for you.”). The reader hits the second, and if astute, maybe realizes the first is a little more “cursey” than it first appeared.

I just saw this. They should have given us a heads up! In 2016 they more or less said, “Here we stand. We can do no other. God help us.”
