A Better Way To Say It

It has been said,”the gospel says that you are more sinful and flawed than you ever dared believe and you are more accepted and loved that you ever dared hope.” It would be more classically Reformed to say “the law says that you are more sinful and flawed than you ever dared believe but the gospel says that you are more accepted and loved than you ever dared hope.”

  1. Thank you Dr Clark. For anyone, especially the unbeliever, with whom one is having a serious conversation, that way of expressing things is far more incisive and makes it easier to open up the discussion. The traditional form of expressing the ideas easily leads to confusion.
