What ever happened to her?
Here’s the NYT obit. The headline is a one-dimensional caricature. Instead of leading with “First African-American Woman to Graduate From Harvard Medical…” They chose to lead with “Anti-Abortionist…”
Here’s a CT post.
I’ve got to say, that NYT obit does give her voice to the truth; however they led off. That must have been very painful for them to print.
I saw and heard Dr. Jefferson at many national Conservative events. She was always dignified, resolute and knowledgeable. I am sure that she paid a price professionally for being vocally pro-life, at a time when others of more visibility, status and wealth were silent in the defense of the pre-born. We need thousands of heroic individuals like Dr. Jefferson.
Another beautiful post, Dr. Clark. And I have gained another African-American heroine.
