The Rev Dr Derke Bergsma is a minister of God’s Word. That isn’t just an office he holds but it is what he is, sola gratia. By definition, a minister is a servant of God’s Word, he only announces what God’s Word says. The question is how to fulfill that vocation, that office, faithfully. In this episode Office Hours talks with Dr Bergsma, Professor Emeritus of Practical Theology at Westminster Seminary California, about what it means to preach God’s Word and to point sinners to the Savior from all of Scripture, while doing justice to the Scriptures as they come to us in history.
