A great golf fixed?
Did Dr. Clark golf with Vincent Furnier?
No, I wish. His was the first and only real rock concert I ever saw (1976, Omaha).
Besides, I am a Goober, not a Gomer.
According to his Wikipedia bio (so it must be true), he plays six days a week. Anyone who practises golf like other people collect sea-shells is likely to leave Dr Clark and Gomer standing.
Back in the Olden Days, when I was alive, there used to be a chat-show in the UK called ‘A Round With Allis’. The ever-genial anchorman of BBC golf coverage, Peter Allis, would play a few holes with a celebrity, interviewing as he went, and the footage would then be edited into a half-hour format. Perhaps your American TV networks are missing a trick.
I recall R.C. Sproul talking about playing with him.
