One of the Big Lies is: Millions and millions of [Fill in the Blank].

As in: “women have died from illegal abortions, minorities have been lynched, homosexuals can’t marry who they “love”, transgenders were born in the wrong body, people will die from the worldwide tsunami produced by the melted polar icecaps etc. etc.”

You would think the parties responsible would stop patronizing us with the same old boilerplate and demonstrate some genuine creativity and credibility in their excuses for manipulation, but no, they cannot be bothered to break a sweat when it comes to hoodwinking the hoi polloi.
