R. Scott Clark
R.Scott Clark is the President of the Heidelberg Reformation Association, the author and editor of, and contributor to several books and the author of many articles. He has taught church history and historical theology since 1997 at Westminster Seminary California. He has also taught at Wheaton College, Reformed Theological Seminary, and Concordia University. He has hosted the Heidelblog since 2007.

First slide: “Here’s a bear on the side of the road. I took the picture.”
Second slide: “Here’s me on the side of the road. The bear took the picture.”
Readers of a certain age (love that euphemism!) will remember deadpan, sad-sack comedian Jackie Vernon. He had a great “slideshow” routine about his vacation. No real slides, of course, just a clicker, a spotlight on the wall, and your imagination. Seeing Dr. Clark out in the wilderness, I thought of Vernon’s great line, “The bear took the picture.”
Very nice! Most people don’t know about the beauty in western Nebraska. By the way, where are the storm chasing (or storm-chased) pictures?
