Micah is the son of Marcus and Mandi McArthur. Marcus is a 2003 graduate of Westminster Seminary California, where he earned his MA in Historical Theology. His thesis was “Apocalypse and Broken Chains: Millerism and Abolitionism in Antebellum America, 1830-1844.” Presently he is a PhD student at the University of St Louis where his dissertation is, “The Church Militant: Disloyal Clergy in Civil War Missouri,” for which he has been awarded the 2010 Missouri State Archives William E. Foley Research Fellowship. Congratulations to Marcus (and Mandi) and thanks for bringing us some joy.
