R.Scott Clark is the President of the Heidelberg Reformation Association, the author and editor of, and contributor to several books and the author of many articles. He is professor emeritus of church history and historical theology at Westminster Seminary California, where he taught for 29 years. I suppose I’d only caution that if someone is sounding off disdain for the length of time it is taking to plug this thing, that it’s not always due to a misplaced faith in technology but rather a rightly placed objection that drilling like this probably ought not be done if effective emergency measures aren’t already in place . . .
