The Inspiration and Inerrancy of Scripture

The White Horse Inn is a great gift to the churches. If you’re not a regular listener, you’re missing out. The last two programs have demonstrated just why the WHI is so valuable. Mike, Kim, Rod, and Ken have been discussing the biblical doctrine of the inspiration (God-breathed) of Scripture and the inerrancy (the truthfulness) of Scripture. The guys have done us all a great service by condensing the issues and presenting them clearly and by explaining why the historic and confessional (and the biblical) position is correct. When you hear how people misunderstand inspiration and inerrancy you’ll understand why evangelicals and liberals (today’s liberal is yesterday’s evangelical or fundamentalist) are saying what they are about Scripture.

Here is the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.

We discussed this topic recently on Office Hours. You can hear that audio here.

Kim Riddlebarger’s terrific PhD diss. on B. B. Warfield is online here.
