Sproul on Romans

sproulromansRomans has a unique place in the history of Reformed theology. Calvin’s work in Romans resulted in a transformation of his Institutes. For many of us, simply reading the book of Romans produced a revolution in our theology, piety, and practice. Yet, in many modern approaches to Romans Paul’s fundamental messages in Romans, e.g., justification sola gratia, have been lost. It’s encouraging to see that R. C. Sproul, one of the most helpful contemporary Reformed leaders, taking up Romans again.

sproulromansnewHe has a new commentary on Romans coming in October. I’m looking forward to it. You can order the earlier commentary from The Bookstore at WSC. I’ll post a link when the new one is available from the bookstore.
