Sept 18-19 Speaking in Traverse City, MI

rsc02-01I’ll be in Michigan at the meeting of presbytery at Redeemer PCA on Sept 18-19th. Traverse City is a beautiful place equidistant between Grand Rapids (to the south) and the Upper Peninsula (to the north). I look forward to seeing some old friends and making some new ones. Details and schedules for the conference are online here. If you’re Western or Northern Michigan or anywhere in the upper midwest, it would be great to meet you at the conference. I’ll be speaking about the relation of the mission of the church to its marks and about the joy of being Reformed. There’s a Q & A session for the presbytery at breakfast on Saturday.

  1. Actually Zrim, you are quite wrong about tornados. TC is very capable of tornados, rare though it may be. I was up north in the Manistee National Forest camping not too very far from TC last year when two tornados
(if memory serves well) touched down nearby.

Dr. Clark, just don’t talk about homosexual ministers at the conference and you’ll be fine. 😉

  2. Where are you going to be on Sunday the 20th?
(one inquiring mind, at least, wants to know…)
“yooknow… we gots a PM service”

    • Chunck,

We don’t have tornadoes in TC. Besides, Redeemer just moved into her current location, so we think of Scott’s visit as a providential blessing, even if it is uncanny.
