Creed or Christless Christianity

The WHI boys hit the ball very solidly in this show. Listen to the audio clips from Doug Pagitt. Who is putting “God in a box?” Sayers was right. Either one has a creed or one has chaos.

  1. That was a great podcast. I particularly appreciated Kim’s definition of heterodoxy and heresy.

Something else that burned my evangelical ears was Mike talking about biblicist christianity being a rejection of the Reformed understanding of Sola Scriptura. Saying ‘just me and my bible’ doesn’t make one Reformed. As I heard quoted, ‘Sola Scriptura doesn’t mean Solo Scriptura!’ Oh man, to this formerly unawares biblicist, the Reformed Confessional faith is so appealing.
