At the turn of the 21st century there was a great deal of discussion about who were the most important figures in the last 1000 years. In 2017 we will celebrate the life and significance of one of those epochal figures: Martin Luther. In preparation for that celebration and looking forward to our 2017 faculty conference Is the Reformation Over? our theme for season 8 of Office Hours is Reformation 500. We’re thinking about what the Reformation was, why it happened, and what it means for us now. Joining us to help us think about the 500th anniversary of the Reformation is W. Robert Godfrey, President and Professor of Church History at Westminster Seminary California. Bob is an expert in Reformation history. He has recently produced a 6-part DVD series of lectures on church history for Ligonier Ministries. He is the author of John Calvin: Pilgrim and Pastor and Reformation Sketches.
