John Owen Society: The Glorious, Indivisible, Trinitarian Work of God in Christ

jonthan-gibsonIf you are near Oxford (UK) on 4 May 2016 and interested in confessional Reformed theology and piety then you may be interested in hearing, Dr Jonathan Gibson, Associate Minister at Cambridge Presbyterian Church and author of From Heaven He Came and Sought Her: Definite Atonement in Historical, Biblical, Theological and Pastoral Perspective, who will be speaking to the John Owen Society. His topic is “The Glorious, Indivisible, Trinitarian Work of God in Christ: Atonement in Paul’s Salvation Theology” The society meets at Keble College. Admission is free. You will have an opportunity to join the John Owen Socierty for £10 (=approx. $15.00). These funds help them bring speakers and Reformed theology to Oxford, where John Owen (1616–83) was once Dean of Christ Church and Vice Chancellor.
