Paddy Chayefsky (1923–81) was a notable American writer in various media (e.g., plays, films, novels). He was most famous for his screenplay for the film Marty. He spoke up briefly, in 1978, against the politicization of everything.

In other words, you don’t like when nonConservatives silence conservative voices. But you celebrate the criticism of nonConservative voices where that criticism was a polite way of silencing dissent.
It is like your blog. You complain about political correctness silencing dissent, but you silence all voices you find irritating. It’s not that you don’t have the right to take this approach on your blog. The question is, how consistent are you when you silence dissent while complaining about those with different view than yours silencing dissent?
