The Power Of The Medieval Cathedral

CovenantURC-Missoula-LogoMy friends Jared Beaird (a WSC grad), pastor of Covenant URC in Missoula, and Dan Borvan, a graduate of WSC (MA Historical Theology), Oxford University (M. Litt), and a PhD candidate at the University of Geneva, are doing an occasional podcast and they’ve been taking advantage of Dan’s research into church history. One of the recent episodes is essentially an audio tour of a medieval cathedral. Dan does a terrific job of leading us into the medieval world, of helping us to understand the power of the cathedral to communicate transcendence in the medieval world. Here’s the audio.
