Polanus 400

Amandus Polanus wrote one of the more significant Reformed theologies of the first half of the 17th century. It’s a remarkable work. Andrew Myers has a nice post introducing Polanus.

  1. Posts such as this one and some of the material in RRC lead me to ask myself to what extent is it worth my learning Latin. Would I miss much if I stuck to things that have been translated already? Many thanks

      • Thank you Dr Clark for the tip. Are there any resources you would recommend if I wanted to start out? I speak French, German and Spanish, so I’m quite familiar with most of the grammatical apparatus of a language, case systems and the like and would be comfortable with something relatively technical. A good tip on a dictionary would be much appreciated as well.

Thank you very much for your time and expertise.
