  1. Why is James abbreviated “Jas” — it always confused me? I would assume Jam… or Ja… Jam would make biblical studies more tasty.

  2. Thanks for posting this. I appreciate that many of the abbrevs don’t have periods! Also, it’s funny to see Qumran as Q… I thought that Q Source was abbreviated Q. Now I gotta go rewrite everything!

    • I live in West Virginia and I am SO GLAD to discover that the official way of abbreviating the state’s name is W.Va.

      … More classy way of abbreviation…

      and also, it better shows that we should still belong to Virginia! (I think Constitutionally, we have been breaking the law by not being Virginia… but I guess this comment opens up a big can of worms.)
