Might the Reformed Reformation Return to Heidelberg?

heiliggeist_innenIt will if God permits, of course, but in terms of human agency there are Reformed believers working to bring back the Reformed faith one of its cradle cities, Heidelberg. Sebastian Heck writes:

…we have an outstanding and wonderful contact to a Dutch brother who will speak to the German ambassador in the Netherland about contacting the Mayor of the City of Heidelberg concerning the use of a church building in Heidelberg. And we are not talking about just any church building. We are targeting the bull’s eye – the Church of the Holy Spirit. We believe that this is “our” church – “our” as in the true and continuing Reformed church.

We realize we are reaching for the stars, but then again, Our Sovereign Lord has His ways! This could really boost the cause of the Reformed Faith in Germany a great deal. Please be much in prayer that the Lord would honor and glorify His Own name in Heidelberg!

Pray for the Reformation of Heidelberg.
