I loved listening to WLS in the early to mid-70’s when I lived near Terre Haute Indiana. I remember listening to Larry Lujack, Bob Sirott and John “Records” Landecker. My favorite was Bob Sirott’s BS Love Counsellor-kinda subversive for AM radio in 70’s-loved it! BTW I received an email from the WLS Insider’s Club with the following schedule: Chuck Knapp 6-9 a.m., Larry Lujack and Tommy Edwards 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Fred Winston 12-3 p.m., Bill Bailey 3-6 p.m., John “Records” Landecker 6-10 p.m., and Jeff Davis 10-12 a.m.
And of course I can’t forget to give a shout out to my favorite super hero of the 70’s…Chicken Man! He’s Everywhere, He’s Everywhere!
