Free E-Book: The Treasury Of God’s Wisdom

“Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her” (Prov 3:13–14; ESV).

Few things are a needed in our age (or in any age) and as rare as wisdom. In the last academic year my colleagues on the faculty at WSC offered a series of devotional messages from Scripture on this theme in chapel. Dennis Johnson has gathered these together and edited them and the seminary has published them as a free e-book. Here is the form to request the download.

This volume features essays by Dennis Johnson, Steve Baugh, John Fesko, Mike Horton, Joshua Van Ee, Joel Kim, R. Scott Clark, Charles Telfer, Bryan Estelle, Zach Keele, and W. Robert Godfrey. Each chapter is a lightly revised version of a devotion on a different passage of Scripture touching on the biblical theme of wisdom.

For more on this theme listen to season 6 of Office Hours: To Know Wisdom.
