  1. Aaron – better get used to it. My brother, who is an amateur radio operator (aka, HAM), studies sun cycles both on a real-time and historical basis, because solar activity affects the way HF signals reflect off the ionosphere. He sees a trend indicating that we may expect 8-10 more years of polar vortex Winters. Groan.
