Office Hours: The Importance Of Wisdom

Office HoursFoolishness has been a part of the human condition since the fall but it was not that way in the beginning. We were made to be wise by knowing and obeying God. After the fall, by grace alone, through faith alone, we find, true, saving wisdom in Christ alone. Nevertheless, we are surrounded by much foolishness and Christians might be tempted to doubt the importance of wisdom since it seems as if a lot of people get alone without it. The Psalmist laments this phenomenon, fools seem to prosper while the wise go begging. Here to help us understand the importance of getting a heart of wisdom is Dr David VanDrunen, the Robert B. Strimple Professor of Systematic Theology and Christian Ethics at Westminster Seminary California.
