On the Making of Creeds

Iain has helpful thoughts relative to the (breathtaking) brevity of the ETS statement. I’m not sure I agree with his assessment of the academic quality of the ETS. Prima facie evidence: 1) they’ve allowed me to give papers; 2) perhaps the bib studies folk are doing a better job but I’ve been disappointed with the history and theology sections. After considerable hectoring from a fellow blogger I “re-upped” my lapsed membership but once I again I’m lapsed.
