New Wave of Violence Against Christians in Nigeria

Pray for civil peace in Nigeria (1 Tim 2:2-3). News reports are coming out that there is a new wave of violence in Central Nigeria targeted at Christians. According to the Wikipedia page, the NKST (Church of Christ in the Sudan Among the Tiv, planted by Reformed missionaries) is headquartered in Benue State, one of the areas affected. Several NKST pastors have studied at WSC and returned to Nigeria to minister in congregations and teach in the seminary. We presently have an NKST student who hopes to return to Nigeria to serve the church.
