R.Scott Clark is the President of the Heidelberg Reformation Association, the author and editor of, and contributor to several books and the author of many articles. He is professor emeritus of church history and historical theology at Westminster Seminary California, where he taught for 29 years. One news service reported that his platoon had been engaged by insurgents in about 35 firefights over the summer months, and there he was, still giving it his all. We should give thanks for these men and the work that they do on our behalf; work that itself is often thankless.
