FV Spreading into Southern Europe

Just got an email from a pastor in Southern Europe. He reports that one of the families in his congregation has become taken with the FV.

The internet is the main vehicle for propagating this nonsense and the internet doesn’t respect national boundaries.

Darryl Hart may be right that it’s a lot of furor over an intellectually insubstantial movement — but it’s spreading and it’s a corruption of the gospel, however, lightweight it may be.

As I keep saying: Reports and pastoral advice are fine, but it’s past time to discipline these cats.

UPDATE:

Turns out that there is a “Slavic Reformation Society Board” which has Jeff Myers and James Jordan on its board. Don’t know if there’s a connection between the email I received and this board but it does make one wonder.
