    This is an odd place for this comment, but okay. I’ll take a look a Fenner. I’m definitely in that group that thinks Ramus’ actual system is inconsequential. It was perhaps one of the biggest con jobs in the 16th century. I’m not alone. Ursinus and Beza agreed. They both refused to hire him, if memory serves. I interact with Ramus and the sec lit on him in the Olevian book. There’s no “there” there. No beef, no substance. It’s pure pedagogical theory — fine but so what?

    A number of Reformed theologians spoke of God as Fenner did. Why do you think this so so revolutionary?
