  1. Yes! They are Eucalyptus, which the early navigators discovered in Australia. It looks as if these are being coppiced, ie., having supplied firewood they will quickly grow again.

  2. And I thought that the caption referred to the “confessional” wing of the PCA.

  3. These trees are more flammable than native species. That is probably why they were cut down.
