There are 3000 + posts on the HB. Some of them contain dead links, i.e., links that go to a site that no longer exists or that has moved. When I find them I try to fix them but I probably won’t fix all of them and some of them cannot be fixed because the material is not online any longer. Sic transit gloria webei. The good news is that when you come a dead link to the old HB (1.0), you can find that same material on the HB 2.0. You might have to use the search function or even Google site search (site:heidelblog.net search term) but it’s probably here somewhere.
I actually wanted to write to thank you for taking the time to respond to questions and comments on your articles. You often say things that are challenging and at times hard to accept so the interaction in the comments is most helpful. Well I didn’t get around to writing the thank you until now, and it is inspired by this post on dead links. I recently read http://heidelblog.net/2009/01/hyping-the-great-commission/

Thanks for the encouragement. I updated the post but the Daily Scoll doesn’t exist (at least not where and as it was). I fixed the links I can. If you find a dead link to the old HB just search for that title on the current HB.

I assume you don’t have an amanuensis. I think your time would be better spent in scholarly and pastoral pursuits. Or, perish the thought, familial.
I would suppose that a good fraction of your readers are adroit at web searches. When one of us finds the new correct version of an old dead link, we can post the correction in a comment. It’s not as if this were a paid newsletter!
